What Is A Kangen Water Machine?
A Kangen Water machine is a medical device used in Japan since 1974. It produces a special water known as Kangen Water® – a registered trademark of the Enagic Company.
It takes regular water from your tap, filters it, runs it through a process known as electrolysis which was invented by a man named Michael Faraday in the 1800’s, then the water splits into acidic water and alkaline ionized water.

Distilled Water vs Alkaline Water?
Ever wondered how Kangen matches up against distilled or reverse osmosis water? Here’s some food for thought. When the Kangen machine separates your tap water into two streams, it splits them through electrolysis into acidic water (dead water) and alkaline ionzed water or what the Japanese refer to as ‘living water.’
Most people are drinking distilled water or reverse osmosis water these days. However, what’s not known is that when the water goes through the process of reverse osmosis, that water no longer contains healthy minerals due to those purification processes. The water is stripped of it’s minerals like calcium, potassium, sodium, magnesium, etc. All of which are extremely detrimental to our health and well being. So what does the body do when it’s not receiving the proper minerals? The body will begin to restore it’s balance by pulling those minerals from our body. This is not good.
When you take an ORP (Oxidation Reduction Potential) Meter and test distilled water, you’ll find that the readout will be a +200 to +400. This means that the body is being oxidized by the normal water you drink! But give the same test to Kangen water and you’ll find a readout of -300 to -700 ORP. Positive ions are bad for your body because they promote free radicals which essentially can only survive in an acidic state. And disease exists in an acidic state.
